We are a small friendly family run establishment with our own car park.

All our bedrooms are en-suite with colour television, tea & coffee facilities and are situated on the first floor.

You can relax in our cosy lounge either before you explore the local area or when you get back.

Your breakfast is prepared with fresh produce and cooked to order, you will be spoilt for choice.

If you are ready to be charmed, Ilfracombe is a perfect destination for you. This slice of heaven with all its quaint attractions is reminiscent of traditional, family-friendly seaside county. It is never a bore with so many places to see and things to do even when you have children in tow.

Start in the Ilfracombe Aquarium. This attraction at the Old Lifeboat House in the Pier makes a great welcoming treat to kids while adults can either enjoy the Rocket House displaying artworks of local talents or relax in the Pier café.

Go see the Tunnels Beaches. Get a glimpse of history and bask in the sun as the fascinating hand-carved tunnels take you to cozy beaches and stunning Victorian pool. The Play Hut close by gives kids another fun diversion for adults to have fun as well.

Take a peek of the past in Ilfracombe Museum. Ilfracombe’s rich story is told through the exceptional mementos housed in the museum located close to the Landmark Theatre. For more art, the Ilfracombe Art Society has exhibits that can regale art aficionados while kids get another dose of delicious fun at Walker’s Chocolate Emporium.

A relaxing day can also start with a pleasurable trip by sea on board the Ilfracombe Princess. More pleasure awaits the entire family at Larkstone Café and Leisure Park. With so many fun options offered by Pitch and Putt course, you are in for a treat. Just before the sun sets, go over to the Hillsborough Nature Reserve and get a glimpse of the breathtaking views of Ilfracombe. Cap the night with a romantic stroll along Hele Bay or a sip tea in the Old Cornmill.

For some spooky experience, check out the 11th century Manor House. The place is also touted for its exquisite gardens, woodland walks, and delectable munchies. And for another slice of local history, let the kids see the statue of Verity. It is a 66 foot bronze-clad sculpture of a woman mounted on legal books, standing tall and pregnant while clasping a sword high up.
